An alumni exhibition curated by Fallon Navarro and Anis Beigzadeh in memory of the 23 years the Star Store served as the home of the CVPA and a cultural hub for the community of New Bedford. 

The Living Room featured nine artists whose work offers comfort: habits, objects, human connections, and imagery that helps to pause the hustle of life. Viewers are encouraged to engage with the work, and take a moment to reflect.

'Empathetic Creations' was an installation comprised of four main groupings with seven additional supportive resting points. Viewers were encouraged to interact with the work and use the comfort devices while considering how we engage with empathy. 

10 artists celebrating relationships of permanence and transience through clay and mixed-media installations. Proposed in conjunction with NCECA 2023: Coalescence.
